What the artists say

January 10 I landed several illustration jobs for a major US educational publisher, after they found my portfolio on Creative Source! Paul Rivoche, member since 2005

December 09 There's lots of work out there - it's just a matter of making yourself loud! Mike Carter, member since 2004

June 09 It has been quite a change from last summer when I really wasn't sure if Creative Source was the right fit for me. This year I built the Big Break card deck into my marketing plans early. Even though this has year has been a little uncertain, the card deck promotion helped me reach new clients. I look forward to participating in the card deck again this fall. David Sones reported ~ I landed three new clients from my Fall '08 postcard, one company from the US and two companies from Canada.

March 09 Things are good, just finishing up the art for a kid's book this week and received a job last week that came via the website. Cindy Revell, Advertiser since 2001

February 09 I have finished one job for a client that was brought in from the source and I will hopefully be closing on another project shortly that will be quite substantial. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Stephen Malka, Advertiser since 2009

February 09 Things are definitely slow, but I did just finish a job with Launch This! agency which came from my portfolio on creativesource.ca. It was a fun project too. Neil Jeffery, Advertiser since 2005

I've been using Creative Source for many years and the ads always pay for themselves. At the moment I'm doing an illustration for the Stratford Festival, thanks to Creative Source. Desmond Montague Advertiser since 1999

Things are going wonderfully these days. Work is incredibly busy and I have been getting some really exciting jobs. I actually got a job today from a client that found me on Creative Source website. I also got a job last week from a New York agency that received the Creative Source postcards. I am leaving today for Scotland and back in a week. It is nice to leave on a vacation knowing I have work waiting upon my return. Jode Thompson Advertiser since 2002

All of my illustration clients have originated through Creative Source or by referral from a Creative Source client. Norman Stiff

For my first large project from Creative Source, I have been asked to design a full collection for a new Royal Doulton line of miniature figurines. I am very excited about this. Thought I would let you know. Diane Kolar

Creative Source has worked consistently well for me over the years, especially in the Canadian market. It has reached segments of the art buying community I would never have thought to approach on my own. This year I had two medium sized assignments which came directly from the Creative Source website. Thank you Creative Source! Barbara Spurll Advertiser since 1986

Having my art on the Creative Source website really paid off recently. A well-known Canadian film company found my work on the CS website and chose me to create a series of illustrations worth several thousands of dollars. (To illustrate a children's portal for "This Hour Has 22 Minutes"). Janet McLeod

Because of Creative Source I managed to find illustration jobs with C.O.R.E. Digital doing conceptual illustrations, educational books with EECI, Inc., and a few other children's books with a company such as Open Book Press. Noel Tuazon

I'm doing a lot more 3D work these days. Your website allows clients quick access to my latest images. I include the Creative Source address (link) on my outgoing emails. I've recently gained a new repeat client who found my work on Creative Source. Clive Parkes

The site has been working well for me, I have gotten two jobs from it, the latest one from a publisher in Austin Texas. I have also been recommending the site to other illustrators. Paul Rivoche

It’s wonderful to reach a wider audience when advertising your work, and creativesource.ca can achieve just that. A US publication used one of my existing illustrations found on the website; no revisions or modifications; how great is that! Colleen O’Hara

- what convinced me to subscribe was the site's layout and ease of use. What's convinced me to keep on subscribing is the great job I got after being on the
site for only a short time; the project paid ten times as much as the initial set-up fee (so I guess I'm onboard for at least 10 more years.) Craig Terlson

Hmm, I see the wheels are always turning at creativesource.ca! By the way, I received a request for an estimate on a job from a Toronto-based graphic
designer with a large corporation, who says he finds creativesource.ca a very useful site he refers to often. He found me on your site. I didn't get the job, but he has becomea new prospect for me and agreed to go on my mailing list. Don Copper

I was quite amazed at the exposure I received from my first issue of gX magazine. Not only did a number of my clients report seeing my work, I also received a couple of inquiries, one of which resulted in a substantial sale. gX magazine also compliments my portfolio on www.creativesource.ca very nicely! Mike Grandmaison
